Could a Brit be the next American Idol?

Tom Lowe has made it to the Hollywood rounds on American Idol Season 6, but this isn't is first brush with fame. He started as a backup singer for Take That! and then at the age of 18 he was in a UK boyband called North & South (which sounds like the influence for our US version of 2ge+her). He toured successfully in Les Miserables and Cats before moving here to pursue a degree in East Asian Studies at Harvard.

Now school is over and this may be his last chance at fame. What do you think?
